By accepting our estimate or permitting work to commence, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Estimates
• Our estimates are prepared with detailed accuracy to avoid misunderstandings.
• If any item is missing or unclear, let us know for a revision before work begins.
• Any additional work required will be agreed upon with the client, and a revised or separate quotation will be provided.
2. Working Arrangements
• All pricing is based on unrestricted access and unimpeded working during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), unless otherwise agreed.
• Both contractor and client will agree on practical working arrangements to minimize disruption and ensure efficient project completion.
3. Access and Deliveries
• Free access must be provided for the delivery of building materials, machinery, equipment, skips, and other required items.
4. Ownership of Materials
• All materials supplied by FixProHomes or subcontractors remain the property of FixProHomes Ltd until full and final payment is received via bank transfer, cleared cheque, or cash.
• Until payment is cleared, FixProHomes retains the right to access the site for the collection of any unused materials, tools, or equipment.
5. Acceptance of Terms
• Accepting an estimate verbally or in writing, and agreeing to commence work, constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
6. Payment Terms
• Payment is accepted via Bank Transfer. Credit/Debit card payments can be arranged, subject to a 2.99% surcharge.
• Payment in full is due upon completion of the project and receipt of the final invoice.
• Part payments, deposits, or interim payments must be agreed upon before or during the project.
• Invoices unpaid after 8 days from the invoice date will incur interest at a rate of 2.5% per month, plus collection costs.
7. Insurance and Public Liability
• FixProHomes maintains Public Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of £5 million.
• Our insurance covers standard building practices but excludes liability for pre-existing defects or damages.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
• All client information is handled in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and will remain strictly confidential.
9. Revisions to Pricing
• If unforeseen difficulties or changes in circumstances arise, we reserve the right to revise the estimated price or quotation to reflect the updated situation.
10. Guarantees
• Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials used in the project.
• Guarantees only take effect once full payment of the final invoice is received.
• Existing structures, materials, or decorations are not covered under this guarantee.
• If an issue arises beyond the guarantee period, we will investigate the cause, negotiate a solution, and carry out agreed repairs promptly. Charges may apply for work outside the guarantee period or for items not covered.
11. Additional Work and Extras
• Any additional work or extras will only be undertaken after full discussion and agreement with the client.
• Verbal or written approval is required, and charges will be applied at the agreed rate.
12. Discounts and Retentions
• Pricing assumes no retentions unless agreed upon in writing beforehand.
• No contractor or subcontractor discounts are provided unless expressly confirmed in writing.
13. Completion of Work
• FixProHomes will strive to complete all projects promptly, factoring in weather conditions, material availability, and unforeseen circumstances.
• We aim to maintain a helpful and cooperative attitude throughout the process.
14. Dispute Resolution
• Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be resolved through discussion or mediation. If unresolved, legal proceedings must be initiated in [Insert Jurisdiction].
